The 4th annual NVBC Point Mugu Contest Presented by Quiksilver took place this past weekend at the famed surf break on the private Ventura naval Base. The 157 competitors were broken up into 5 divisions: Military, Open Men, Women, Young Guns and Bodyboard. With this beach normally closed to the public, 7,000 excited spectators came out to watch the amazing surf and surfers light up the left and right barrels. Our very own Stephanie Gilmore made an appearance surfing it up with the rest of the Quiksilver team.
