Quiksilver’s Waterman Collection store at Fashion Island celebrated the upcoming release of Decade of Dominance, a film that chronicles Jamie Mitchell’s historic 10 straight Molokai-2-Ohau Paddleboard World Championship victories. Guests were treated to Daphne’s Greek food and heard from Jamie himself as Big Wave Tour Champion Peter Mel lead a Q & A and showed behind the scenes footage and a sneak peek of the film.
If you’re in the area, the Quiksilver Waterman Collection store is well worth a visit. You’ll find a collection of boards including a 1998 Kelly Slater board hand painted by Kelly himself and a vintage Tom Carroll 1987 Brewer Gun. Additionally, the store has a one-of-kind collection of photos chronicling the journeys of Quiksilver Waterman athletes.
