More fun waves are on hand today at La FAE beach in Salinas, Ecuador for the 2009 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Championship. Quiksilver team riders Garrett Parkes and Maxime Huscenot both ripped in their Round 2 heats and advanced to the next round. Under 16 standouts Cristobal de Col, Matt Banting and Ramzi Boukhaim had the day off today and will surf again tomorrow. Looks like a bomb swell is on the way so the next few days could be interesting.
Our crack webcast commentary is going strong – no fallen soldiers yet – and the morale is high. Potts, who’s been to every ISA Junior event over the past 5 years, said that he’s never seen a better crowd and atmosphere than what he’s experienced here. Watch the live webcast at www.quiksilver.com/isa and stay tuned for more updates here.
