Coming right off his first day competing at the U.S. Open down in Huntington Beach, 9-time ASP world champion surfer Kelly Slater trekked to L.A. to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the 7:10 p.m. game versus San Diego. While at the stadium, Kelly met Dodgers Jamey Carroll and A.J. Ellis, was on the field warming up and threw out the first pitch prior to the Dodgers beating the Padres 9-0 last night.
