Raph Bruhwiler is one of the leaders of Canadian surfing and has been pioneering waves in the north since he was just a kid growing up on the beach with the rest of the Bruhwiler family in Tofino B.C.. For this years Innersection, he and filmmaker Adam Dewolfe teamed up and decided to try to show another side of Raph. Leave the boat at the dock and go hunting, something Raph does as much as possible when hunting season is open on Vancouver Island and the waves are not all that great. On any given morning you can find Raph wandering around the forest, tracking black tail deer with his dad and brother. He has also been working with a local cedar (wood) surfboard builder from Vancouver Island Randy weflen of Wefi Surfboards that they wanted to highlight in thier part. It is important to mention also that Raph hunts for food for his family not for sport.
