The biggest event in Latin America for surfers up to 20 years shakes the holy week in Rio de Janeiro.
Quiksilver and Roxy Pro Junior presented by Peugeot, the first stop of the ASP South American Pro Junior Series 2010, will start this Friday. The best surfers up to 20 years old will battle for the title at famous Barra Beach. The competition has 4 mega station platform mounted on the beach and the Junior surfers are very excited to start competing.
The best surfers from South America, including names such as Alejo Muniz, Jesse Mendes, Ian Gouveia, Miguel Pupo and Peterson Crisanto from Brazil, the Peruvian Cristobal de Col and Chilean Guillermo Satt, among others, have confirmed their participation in the contest for the prize of $ 15,000.00, at the Quiksilver Pro Junior.
Girls from all over Brazil, with names such as Diana Cristina, Nathalie Martins and Gabriela Leite, International contingent has Peruvians like Alexia Jeri and Valeria Sole, and the solo representing of Hawaii, Leila Hurst will be aiming for the Roxy Pro Junior title and a piece of $ 5,000.00 prize.
