Kelly Wins Hurley Pro, Secures His 50th Elite Tour Victory

    September 20, 2012

Today The Champ has reached another milestone in his career claiming his 50th elite tour victory by taking out Joel Parkinson in the Final of the Hurley Pro at Lower Trestles. After a controversial call that sent him to the 5th Round caused a bit of road rage, Kelly put the pedal to the metal and swerved his way through some tough competition. Round 5, Quarters, Semi and the Final saw some bumps in the road but in the end it was Kelly who had enough left in the tank to scoot past the finish line. And a fitting place to cross the finish line it was as Lowers is where the race began when Kelly won the 1990 Body Glove Surfbout over 20 years ago.

Congratulations Kelly on winning the Hurley Pro and securing  your 50th Elite Tour Victory…Ride On.
