Aloha from the 808,
The KOG Hawaii Edition went off on a “declining” South swell yesterday at Kewalo’s. Waves were well overhead for most, and double overhead for a few, but when the dust settled, Kaimana Jaquias (son of Kaipo) from Kauai pulled off the most skins. Roxy’s Carrisa Moore also made a strong showing looking to defend her title from last year, but came up a couple skins short and tied for second with Ezekiel Lau. Mahalo to Hawaii Team Manager Donald Pahia for holding down the contest and making sure all had a good time.
