9yr old Santa Cruz ripper John Mel has been posting mad results as of late. With a busy schedule keeping Mom & Dad behind the wheel of the family rig carting Johhny to various events the miles have paid off. Coming into the Southwest Conference from his usual Northwest Conf- little Mel brought his A game to upset a standout field of kids in the Open Mini Groms for the win. Making sure it was time well spent in HB he surfed up a Div against the older more established kids where he finalled and finished 4th in the Open Boys div….great weekend and some new hardware.
