On May 26th @ 3pm Long Beach High School will host a screening of Clay Marzo: Just Add Water @ the High School Auditorium (322 Lagoon Dr W, Lido Beach). The screening will follow with guest speakers and Quiksilver Team Riders Balaram Stack (LBHS Student), Mark Healey & Peter Mel.
Clay Marzo: Just Add Water is an epic film that dives beneath the surface of one of the most gifted and creative surfers in the world; 19 year-old Clay Marzo. The film provides a never-before-seen look at Clay’s mind-blowing skills in the water and the challenges he faces on land as a result of Aspergers Syndrome.
Clay’s spontaneous, unpredictable and creative style has earned him three NSSA (National Scholastic Surfing Association) Surfing Titles. His role in Clay Marzo: Just Add Water won him Best Male Performance at the 2008 SURFER Magazine Poll and Video Awards, and the film took home the award for Best Biography at the X-DANCE Action Sports Film Festival.
