Jabour & Kahokuloa NSSA National Champions!!

Quiky’s grom squad took out top honors in the last 2 weeks of the NSSA Nationals 08/09 season. It started at Salt Creek where Kaoli Kahokuloa came out on top in the Middle School Boys Div utilizing multiple variations of air and top turns for the win. Kiron Jabour took 2nd in the Mens High School Div for the Elite Academy in what would be the beginning of his final Nationals appearance. Kiron cleaned up back to back victories in both the Explorer Jr’s and Mens Div’s! Fisher Heverly netted a 3rd and 5th in those same Jr’s and Mens finals. Oahu supergrom Noa Mizuno went the distance in the Open Mini’s final but fell victim to a dreaded “interference” call which lowered his title campaign to 6th pl. Balaram Stack flared in the Airshow sticking what would be the largest “straight” air with a massive lien over a big section but unfortunately wasnt scored for his effort as the judges missed his wave?
