When you spend 10 days in New York, random stuff will happen outside of the 201 Mulberry project and Autumn pop up shop. 201 Mulberry in NYC was up and running and packed with kids every day. What do you do after you have a great opening night party, an art show, and open mini-ramp sessions for a week? You hold a contest. Billy Rohan MC’d the contest while David Clark, Dave Mims from Autumn Skate Shop, and Quiksilver Skate Team Manager Jamey Beeson judged. The night was broken into two contests. First, the 15 an”d under” contest, followed by the 16 and up crowd. As expected, we found some solid hidden talent in the NYC area.
